My boss, Col. West, has written here frequently about the naïve hopefulness of liberal progressives sporting “Coexist” bumper stickers on their carbon footprint-friendly hybrid cars.
But time and time again, Islamists have demonstrated that “subjugate” is more to their liking, for as we know, the word Islam literally means “submission.”
Sadly, a French street artist by the name of Combo was violently assaulted by a Muslim gang after they took offense to his “Coexist” artwork.
According to The Gateway Pundit, “Four Muslims in Porte Dorée (the Golden door), a ghetto east of Paris, beat artist Combo after he refused to take down his Coexist street art. Combo suffered a dislocated shoulder, bruises and a black eye.”
A blog called The Muslim Issue says “Combo, who is born in Amiens to a Christian Lebanese father and a Moroccan Muslim mother, created the artwork as a political message in response to the Charlie Hebdo massacre. Combo says his street art used to stay intact for at least 3-4 years but is nowadays vandalized within 2-3 days of creation.”
“Although Combo didn’t want to reveal the identity of his attackers, he states that he is afraid of future violence from a growing group of extremists in France.”
He tries “to find similarities” between religions in his art. He became well-known for a political message blasted over Beirut that read: “Less Hamas, more hummus.”
It was ‘very poorly received’, he concludes.”
Indeed. It is hard to “find similarities” with a religion whose followers beat, behead, rape, dismember, bury and burn alive those they deem impure or offensive.
I am sorry Combo was assaulted. But I am sorrier still that so many in the West continue to think a few camp songs and a group hug will solve everything.
Ok, so it’s not 100 percent of all Muslims. How ‘bout we just take some decisive action to eliminate the bad guys?
