Regardless if I'm weak or not, I'm going to stand tall.
Everyone says life is easy but truly living it is not.
Times get hard, people struggle and constantly get put on the spot.
I'm going to wear the biggest smile even though I want to cry.
I'm going to fight to live even though I'm destined to die.
And even though it's hard and I may struggle through it all...,
you see me struggle...but you will NEVER see me fall.

Let me tell you about something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows; it’s a very mean and nasty place. And I don’t care how tough you are; it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, not even nobody, is going to hit you harder than life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward… That’s how winning is done!
Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute, or an hour, a day, or even a year. But eventually, it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quite however, it will last forever.
The margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early – you don’t quite make it. One half second, too slow, too fast – you don’t quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They’re in every break of the game, every minute, every second.
“You got a Dream? You have to protect it. You can’t have somebody coming and telling you, you can’t have it. If you want something, go get it. Period!”
Don’t be afraid to fail. You can’t always win, but don’t be afraid to make decisions.
You have to believe that something different can happen. He who says he can, and he who says he can’t, are both usually right.
Most of you say you want to be successful, but you don’t want it bad. You just kinda want it. You don’t want it badder than you wanna party. You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don’t want success as much as you want to sleep.
Our deepest fears are not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fears are that we are more powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Think deep down. Deep, deep down and ask yourselves, “who do you want to be?” Figuring out for yourselves, what makes you happy? No matter how crazy it may sound to other people.
Make a choice. Right? Just decide. What it’s gonna be, who it’s gonna be, and how you’re gonna do it. Just decide.
Why can’t I be the MVP of the league? Why can’t I be the best player in the league? I don’t see why, why can’t I do that?
What is it you said to the kid, “It ain’t how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take, and keep moving forward.”
Get up. But don’t ever give up.
We can stay here and get the shit kicked out of us. Or, we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb out of the Hell. One inch at a time.
To be able at any moment to sacrifice what you are, to what you will become. Most of you won’t be successful because when you study and you get tire, you quite. “I don’t do well in math!”—You right!! You ain’t never studied. “I’m not good at writing” – You ain’t never written before!!
To have natural ability and skill is only developed by hours and hours of working on your craft.
If you are not making someone else’s life better, then you’re wasting your time.
Don’t cry to give up, cry to keep going. Don’t cry to quite, you’re already in pain, you’re already hurt, get a reward from it!
If you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be ready to take the hits. And not go pointing fingers saying because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!!
Every day is a new day. Every moment is a new moment. So now you got to go out and show them that you’re a different creature!
