The son of a Nigerian politician who was convicted of rape in UK will be deported to Nigeria after he must have served his jail term. 38-years-old Ekene Anoliefo claims deporting him from the United Kingdom would breach his human rights, but the crime of rape far overweighs the right to respect his private life.
Ekene Anoliefo was jailed in may 2009 after he was found guilty of raping a 19-years-old girl who he held captive in his car after pretending to help her. He drove the victim to his flat and raped her in what the sentencing judge described as 'brutal and degrading'.
He was a computer student studying in the UK and was jailed for 12 years but his jail term was later reduced to 9 years. His appeal to remain in the UK after his jail term was rejected and he will be taking the next flight to Naija as soon as he finish serving his jail term.
