UPDATES on the unlawful killing of Ibrahim Momodu: A police corporal has been dismissed from the NIgeria police force following the killing of a final year student of the University of Benin.
Corporal Amadi was dismissed to face murder charge. He was an orderly to chief superintendent of police, Mrs Carol Afegbai, who was the DPO of Ogida police station where Ibrahim Momodu was killed and who confessed to have killed Ibrahim for alleged armed robbery.
Police investigation revealed that Corporal Amadin was found to have pulled the trigger that killed Ibrahim Momodu on May 27, 2013, after Carol Afagbai claimed the deceased was shot on the legs.
I have so many unanswered questions regarding this case.
* "If Carol Afegbai didn't pull the trigger, why did she admit to journalists on June 2nd, 2013, that she shot Ibrahim Momodu on the leg?
* Who gave Corporal Amadin the order to shoot Ibrahim momodu?
* Was Carol Afegbai not aware that Ibrahim Momodu was murdered and hurriedly buried?
* Who fed the commissioner of police mendacious information that Ibrahim mommodu was an armed robber?
* Where did they get the gun, bike and green bag that were planted on Ibrahim Momodu to make him look like an armed robber?
* Is the police force trying to exonerate Carol Onyeka Afegbai because of her influence and police rank?"
