Mercy Aigbe received award for best actress in Yoruba category.
This year City People’s annual Awards took place on Sunday at the Heaven Events Center, Ikeja, Lagos. The event was a superb one, it was a movie meets music night.
Popular on-air-personality Toke Makinwa and MC Abbey hosted the event holding it spellbound! The event gathered diverse range of entertainment sectors from Nollywood to the music industry, producers, journalists and bloggers.
Ghanaians were not left out of the categories this time as they trooped in for the glamorous event. Yvonne Nelson who bagged the “Best Actress” in the Ghanaian category, said with enthusiasm “Big ups to City people Nigeria for extending the awards to Ghana; Nigeria is my second home”.
Thrilling performances followed from Kcee, Sean Tizzle, Olamide, BiG Shef, and Chocolate City’s Victoria Kimani.
